This is a role for someone who finds calm in structure, satisfaction in balanced books, and pride in getting the details right (even the ones no one else notices). If you’ve worked in bookkeeping before, you know what it takes. You must have a sharp eye, take a methodical approach, and have the ability to keep going even when you're double-checking your double-checking.
We’re looking for a Bookkeeping Clerk with 2–5 years of experience to help manage the daily ins and outs of accounts payable (A/P),accounts receivable (A/R), reconciliations, and everything in between. You’ll work closely with our internal team to ensure our financial data is organized, clean, and always accurate.
It’s not a flashy job, no, and that’s kind of the point. It’s steady, essential work. If you find purpose in being the one who keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, you’ll fit right in.
What Your Role Entails
- Reconciling A/P and A/R transactions
- Digging into discrepancies, missing invoices, and transactions that don’t quite add up
- Reviewing and formatting spreadsheets with a focus on accuracy and logic
- Entering and updating financial records in QuickBooks, ProVision, and Excel
- Preparing and supporting financial reports and tracking key data
- Communicating with other departments via Teams and email to answer questions and clarify info
- Managing recurring bookkeeping tasks while staying organized and focused
What Will Help You Succeed
- 2–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small to mid-sized business environment
- Comfortable with tools like QuickBooks, ProVision, and Microsoft Excel (bonus points if you know how to use pivot tables, conditional formatting, and VLOOKUP..but no worries if you're still learning)
- A natural sense of order (when something’s off, you feel it).
- A steady hand and a calm mindset (you’re not thrown off by repetition, and you understand why the small stuff matters)
- Confidence in asking questions and speaking up when numbers don’t make sense
- The ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay focused without a ton of supervision
- A curious, thorough approach (you don’t mind going a few steps deeper to figure out the “why” behind a discrepancy)!
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate: $22–$24/hour based on your experience
- A flexible work environment ( hybrid, or in-person, depending on your needs and location)
- A supportive, respectful team that values the work you do
- Opportunities to grow with the role and expand your skillset
Why This Role Might Be Right for You
You're not looking for a loud or flashy role (you want one where your strengths shine quietly and consistently). You’re the type of person who might color-code your budget or triple-check a spreadsheet just because it helps you sleep better at night. You’re dependable, detail-focused, and probably a little more organized than most people you know. And you take pride in work that’s done well, even if it’s behind the scenes.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.
Apply now and tell us a little about yourself!
